My Sister's Keeper

Ticket Seller: "Here, take some tissues, you'll need it".

I need to start off by saying that i've never been a fan of dramas. The only dramas I've ever watched are either to accompany friends or those that are highly recommended. This movie was both.

I always find it difficult to be emotionally touched by a movie, as I always see it as a form of entertainment and find it hard to take it seriously, especially when it's too over-dramatic. "My sister's keeper" had fantastic performances from its actors, and had a meaningful storyline. I was amazed by the acting from the child actors and can see why this movie was highly recommended. However, as I don't like dramas, this movie didn't really do much for me.

The ticket seller handed me a bunch of tissues before I entered which I ended up handing out to all my friends and people sitting around me, which shows that my review on this movie will not do it justice, because personally, I thought it was "ok" and did not shed a tear.

Sofia Vassilieva who plays Kate, did a fantastic job and was the only thing about this movie that I enjoyed watching. This girl has potential.

If you are a fan of dramas or the book, give this movie a try. Otherwise, I don't see anything too special about this movie.

The Ugly Truth

Absolutely Hilarious!!

This was such an entertaining movie, It was so fun to watch that I didn't want it to end. Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler were both perfect for their roles and there was definite chemistry.

I originally expected this to be a typical chick flick/romantic comedy, however, the movie touches on issues that are relevant to both men and women. It is definitely not just targeted to the female population. This will have you holding your stomach in laughter.

I definitely recommend this movie, and can't wait to watch it again.
