Eagle Eye

This could easily be one of my favourite movies this year. If you liked "Phone Booth", you will like this.
This movie was so full of suspense and action, there was not a moment where this movie got boring. It was so fast paced, and something was always happening leaving me watching on the edge of my seat. I can't believe this idea has been used such a limited amount of times since the success of "Phone Booth". Normally after a really good idea is used, you see a million following it with similar ideas. Which is probably why i enjoyed eagle eye so much. The only thing about this movie that was a bit too cliche, is complications with technology and robots, which has been done too many times.
For those who haven't heard or seen ads for this movie, it is basically about two people that receive a threatening phone call from a stranger. This stranger can track them and watch their every move through technology around them and puts them into dangerous situations, leading them into a police chase. They practically become "puppets" to this stranger.
Shia LeBouf did a good job in this movie. I think this is the first time i have seen him playing a mature adult, and it actually suited him. He no longer feels like a little boy, and can now be viewed as a man. Rachel Holloman also does a good job in this movie too.
Overall Rating: 4/5
