Movie release on New Years day
December 26th 2008 03:33
It's Boxing day today, so i'll be heading off to the cinemas later to check out either "The day the earth stood still", "Benjamin Button" or "Bedtime Stories". I'm still quite indecisive at the moment. I will put a review up later.
For now, i will post up the releases for New Years Day.....YAY. Please note, these are the releases for Australian cinemas.
It's a good list of movies to start off the New Year:
Bolt
Starring: John Travolta, Susie Essman and Miley Cyrus.
I have always loved animations, so i am looking forward to this movie. Bolt is a super hero dog on tv, but he thinks his a super hero in real life. When one of the stars of another hit tv show are accidentally shipped off to New York, Bolt decides to embark on a journey across the country to save his friend.
Yes Man
Starring: Jim Carrey
Jim Carrey is always hilarious so i am expecting the same for this. The trailer seems pretty funny, but i'm hoping they didn't show all the good parts in the trailer already.
Synopsis on Reading cinemas website:
A man signs up for a self-help program based on one simple principle: say yes to everything... and anything.
Marley and Me
Starring: Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston
A comedy/drama about a young couple that adopts a labrador, and from it learns the meaning of love and family. This movie is based on the bestselling book by Josh Grogan.
